Our group, under the guidance of Lala Shriram and later Lala Bansi Dhar, has been part of the nation building exercise for over 125 years. We started manufacturing Make in India products in 1890 and have consistently worked towards import substitution and creating industrial wealth in India. We have has now forayed into Defence manufacturing under the Prime Ministers call for an Atmanirbhar Bharat’. We plan to set up a fully integrated facility, in a graduated manner, to produce equipment for the Security and Civil Organisations. We believe that this project will create jobs not only in our company but in a series of ancillary units and allied services, bringing prosperity to the nation.
It is with great pride that I announce the development of ZEBU, a Light Bullet Proof Vehicle and DCM UAVs (Trishul and Kailash). These are state of the art products which have best in class features. The prototypes have been fielded in various forums & exhibitions and received immense praise from all. In addition to providing equipment to organisations in India, our aim is to also export them to other nations and peace-keeping forces. Our Mission is to design and manufacture a world class products.
DSIL decided to foray into the defence equipment manufacturing space after the Indian Government announced its policy for promoting indigenously designed and developed products. We have shortlisted 4-5 areas which we would like to concentrate on, the primary one being Armoured Vehicles and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.
